I qualified as a bookkeeper with the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers in 2009, and since then I’ve had the privilege of supporting a wide variety of small and micro businesses — from trades and creatives to service providers.
I became a bookkeeper because I wanted a career that offered flexibility, continuous learning, and the chance to genuinely help people. No two workdays are ever the same, and I absolutely love that.
At heart, I’m a number nerd. I love taking financial chaos and turning it into clear, useful, organised information. Matching invoices, reconciling bank accounts, using cloud software like QuickBooks, Xero and FreeAgent — these are the tasks that make me smile. My goal is always simple: to give business owners clarity and confidence in their numbers.
Clients often tell me they feel a huge sense of relief when they hand over bookkeeping to me. I take pride in reducing stress, saving them time, and helping them spot opportunities to improve cash flow or streamline their systems. I keep things friendly, jargon-free and easy to understand, with a calm and supportive approach.
My philosophy is based on clear communication, simple processes and reliable routines, powered by modern technology that makes everything faster and easier.
Outside of bookkeeping, I’m a Deputy Parish Clerk, mum of three, coffee lover, organisation fan — and dog mum to four! I’ve been self-employed since 2009 and deeply understand the pressures and joys of running a small business. It’s why I’m passionate about supporting business owners with bookkeeping that feels clear, simple and stress-free.
